I am a senior information architect with more than 15 years of experience in business intelligence and advanced analytics with a focus on data quality and governance. At Microsoft I created a database application that grew to become the largest content management platform within the company (Arsenal) and I consulted on a demonstration of the worlds largest OLAP Cube. I developed a BI system prototype to analyze MS Sales against Siebel CRM data and initiated the earliest efforts within Microsofts Enterprise and Partner Group to analyze internal business data using OLAP technology. In the in the Army Reserve I served as deputy to the CTO of US Central Command, Directorate of Intelligence, and Chief of Intelligence Systems for Afghanistan. I have written published courseware for ITIL v2011. Ive written popular blog posts including OLAP is not becoming obsolete (link).

With this customer I had multiple engagements: I developed OLAP cubes and analytical models to support finance and accounting; extended their data warehouse to support the OLAP cubes; I analyzed their entire reporting system to identify risks associated with a planned move to a new distribution center. Hard-coded references to the existing distrubution center were replaced with dynamic references in all ETL, Tableau workbooks, reports and code; I helped evaluate Snowflake for potential future migration.
