As a Back- end Developer, you would be responsible for building a world class, rich quality APIs to support several business requirements including core public websites and internal websites. You should have knowledge on back- end side including cutting-edge architecture stack and great skill to work with multi-regional databases.



Responsibilities:

- Design and build a world class API to support global users

- Maintain old system (based on PHP and currently migrating to Node and Python)

- Deep experience in a range of JavaScript toolkits, alternative tools and open-source libraries used to deliver rich, creative, and effective web applications and user experiences.

- Ensuring software compatibility across different browsers and platforms

- Stays abreast of industry best practices, technologies, architectures, trends and emerging technologies

- Working alongside the senior team to define and deliver a best practice backend solution

- Build new features to help our external customers find the perfect global dentist/doctors

- Build and maintain the tools for the our  staff to do their jobs quickly and efficiently via our custom CMS

- Design and develop extranet portals for our medical clinic clients to maintain their clinic data

- Develop internal tools and scripts to make development and deployment faster and easier with every release

- Challenge the existing architecture; make constant improvements to the codebase and point out faults in our existing processes

- Help build the world’s largest global medical marketplace



Technical Skill Requirements:



- 3+ years of web UI development experience

- Node, Express and TypeScript

- Python

- MySQL or equivalent relational database experience

- NoSQL (any brands)

- HTTP, Restful, gRPC, GraphQL

- HTML5, CSS3 and the DOM

- Git

- AWS, especially serverless architecture
