You’ll work within a close-knit team and play a vital role in developing new features and functionality as we prepare to launch this exciting app that’s set to change the child care industry. Using your extensive experience, you will be required to create scalable and clean code as well as work with an existing code base.

This is not your average position and to be successful, you’ll need to bring your A-game. You’ll be hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. This role is a remote contractor position, which requires you to be self-motivated and driven, while still working collaboratively in a team. 20 hours to start, with the possibility for up to 40 hours for the right person.

LOCATION:

This a remote, work from home position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven PHP experience using the Laravel framework


• Should be able to develop cutting-edge HTML5/CSS3 from UX/Web Designs


• Exceptional JavaScript experience, including the use of current frameworks (VueJS, ReactJS) and tools (NPM / Yarn / Webpack)


• Experience with SASS/SCSS/CSS frameworks, Bootstrap 3/4


• Experience using CSS pre and post processors


• API experience


• Proven experience developing highly scalable code to industry standard


• Testing abilities


• Understanding of Templating Languages


• Your code should be cross browser compatible


• Experience with git, including branching and pull requests


• Suitable home/office environment with reliable internet

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated experience

Skills:

• Attention to detail. This is critical.


• Logical with exceptional problem solving skills


• The ability to think creatively


• Must be able to see a UI/UX design and code it so it looks exactly the same. Zeplin experience highly regarded.
