Skills 


  • Coaches the scrum team to become a self-organized, cross-functional and highly efficient team that delivers high-quality products.

  • Facilitates Scrum events such as backlog creation/grooming, prioritization, stand up meetings, estimation, showcase and retrospectives.

  • Collaborates with Product Manager to plan road-map execution based on estimates and capacity; also identify risks to the plan.

  • Clarifies deliverables and assignments to the scrum team and remove impediments.

  • Facilitates documenting, publishing and executing the team's continuous improvement plan (based on retrospectives).

  • Publishes the team's agile metrics to management and stakeholders.

  • Coaches and mentors the scrum team in its scrum adoption.

  • Facilitates the documentation of working agreement, the definition of ready and definition of done for the scrum team.

  • Conducts change management

  • Engages Product Owners, Portfolio Leads, and PMs to fulfill their individual roles.

  • Participates and/or Leads scrum adoption practices across the organization and related Community of Practices.



 

Key Qualifications 


  • Understands project/program needs among diverse colleagues in various departments (Claims, Medical Management, Enrollment & Billing, Sales & Marketing, IT, Business Process Improvement, etc.).

  • Prior experience in health plan and management consulting roles is preferred.

  • 1-2 years of practitioner experience leading Agile / Scrum projects.

  • Experience in Agile / Scrum development methodologies & tools (Jira / Jenkins).

  • Experience in DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process & tools.

  • Experience in test-driven development.

  • Experience in test automation.

  • Problem-solving, analytical and creative thinking.

  • Teamwork and collaboration; interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to execute.

  • Project and program management experience with proven success in multiple project implementations.

  • Rapid prototyping.

  • Code versioning and/or code merge.

  • Business acumen.

  • Expert in the presentation of project idea, status, solution, and results.

  • Proven skills in data analysis and presentation of data.

  • Proficiency in MS Office skills (Visio, Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SharePoint as well as Jira /Jenkins required.
