Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer (remote)

Responsibilities:

• 
  Production servers, on cloud hosted by (AWS, Rackspace, Softlayer, etc...)

  Linux system administration (mainly AWS hosted and Linux, Ubuntu / RedHat / Centos)
  


• 
  System monitoring, maintenance, configuration and documentation
  


• 
  Application (installation, configuration, migration and support )
  


• 
  Test, deployment and performance tuning
  


• 
  24/7 SaaS operation (on call rotation)
  


• 
  Security
  

• 
  Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
  


• 
  3+ years experience working with related technologies
  


• 
  US Citizenship

  Short learning curve for new technologies

  Detail-oriented and proficient producing Documentation

  Strong proficiency in Linux, Open Source, Web based and Cloud based environments (ability to use open source technologies and tools)

  Good knowledge of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, services and security)

  Strong scripting and automation (bash, Perl, common Linux utils),

  Strong debugging skills (OS, scripting, Web based technologies), SQL, Java and Database concepts are a plus
