Specifically…

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth


• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners


• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies


• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes


• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact


• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources


• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members


• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed


• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding


• Reports to the VP of Product

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)


• EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years as a PM and 1-5 years as Business Analyst (prior to becoming a PM)


• PMP / PMI / Agile / SCRUM certification is a huge plus


• Strong command of Jira, Asana, Slack, and/or other project collaboration tools


• Proven working experience as a PM in digital, tech, or media


• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies


• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills


• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills


• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen


• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques


• Self-starter, energetic go-getter

• Communication: you write clean, well-designed project plans that consider risks + resources, and can effectively communicate at all project phases with developers, designers, and executive stakeholders.
