Job Description

The primary focus of the SharePoint Developer will be building and configuring SharePoint based internal websites using web UI or SharePoint Designer and developing code for SharePoint. The developer will be responsible for developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence or enterprise content management.

Qualifications (Education, Work Experience & Knowledge)

The candidate should have the following education, work experience, and knowledge to be successful as a SharePoint Developer.

Education/Certification Requirements

At a minimum, the qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software development , or related field. Possession of one or more of the following technical certifications are preferred:

· Microsoft Certified – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

· MSCA Teamwork Administrator Associate

· MCSE Enterprise Administrator Expert

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

Work Experience

The candidate should have at least 8 years working experience in Three (3) or more of the following application development areas:

· C#,

· .NET Framework

· ASP.NET.

· SharePoint Server,

· ADO.NET,

· VB,

· HTML,

· CSS,

· JavaScript,

· jQuery,

· XML,

· SQL Server,

· Web Services,

· security,

· instrumentation,

· exception handling,

The candidate should possess communication skills, technical writing skills, solid presentation skills, management and problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, leadership skills, customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. SharePoint developers must also be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
