Security engineer
You will keep current with major threats & known vulnerabilities, review sensitive parts of the code base. You will assist & validate the setup for both cold and hot wallets, and you will review the code and note any vulnerabilities. You should have a working knowledge of some of the following: JS, C/C++, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Express, Linux, AWS, Docker & Terraform. You should know how to operate production systems securely and offer advice & best practices.
Responsibilities:
Keeps current on the current IT threat landscape and upcoming trends in security
Assist with management of funds (cold storage, hot wallets)
Handle first response to security events
Assist in administering & validating systems for best security practices
Review code and assist in deploying & managing configurations securely in production
Detect, escalate, and assist in remediation of critical information security incidents.
Document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, and interact with customers
Perform intrusion analysis
Improve and challenge existing processes and procedures in a very agile and fast moving information security environment.
Requirements:
Security Certifications (like EC-Council, GIAC, (ISC) or equivalent) are preferred
2+ years experience with JS
Working knowledge of C/C++ is a plus
Previous experience of physical cybersecurity
Experience securing & working with microservices
Experience with SIEM, DLP and other Information security tools a plus
5+ Yrs of relevant work experience
BA/BS or Equivalent work experience
