Job Description:

                              The DevOps Lead will be responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure that products. This person will work with Software Engineering, Data Science, and AI teams to codify and deploy infrastructure, implement delivery pipelines, and ensure systems are reliable, performant, and secure.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Guide architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their performance, reliability, and scalability


• Guide infrastructure and network-level security


• Monitor, manage and set up alerts for our systems using third-party services such as New Relic, PagerDuty, DataDog, and Sentry


• Work with engineers to automate deployments and their configuration


• Strategically identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities in our infrastructure and help define remedies and infrastructure additions


• Lead incident response and postmortems, helping to perform root cause analysis and resulting action items


• Support development teams in their infrastructure needs and guide them in DevOps best practices


• Work with the team on capacity planning and optimizations to infrastructure footprint.

• 3+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience


• 2+ years of leadership experience (project or people)


• Experience building HIPAA compliant infrastructures and managing security platforms (e.g. ThreatStack)


• Knowledge of and experience working with IaaS (e.g. AWS, GCP) and PaaS (e.g. Heroku)


• Belief in "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC), including experience with Hashicorp's open-source tools such as Terraform, Consul and Packer


• Strong background in sound agile software development principles


• Experience running containerized workloads in production and at scale (e.g. Kubernetes)


• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, or GitLab


• Treats best practices for security as a requirement, not an afterthought
