About The Role



We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product & Development department which currently consists of 15 team members. As an engineer, you would be reporting to the Head of Engineering.



This Is How We Work

• We define and assign quarterly goals based on our user and merchant's feedback, experience, motivation and willingness to learn.


• Transparency is the key. We share everything and our departments are very cooperative.


• We use agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, retrospectives, one to ones and team lunches.


• We like to be updated so we take advantage of opportunities to add new technologies in our tech stack. This year we recently added new technologies like docker, elm, react, periscope, pipeline deployments, etc.




•  

• Enhance our current products (booking widget, booking inventory, merchant back office, public api...) and upcoming challenges with microservices-oriented mindset.

• Triage, diagnose and solve problems.


• Professionalize our technology stack. (PHP, React, AngularJs, relational/non-relational database and AWS services such as RBS, S3, RS, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of best practices (SOLID, testing, microservices mindset).


• Solid experience developing in high-traffic distributed systems in PHP.


• Ability to proactively find and solve problems.


• Understanding the importance of iteration and improvement.


• A versatile, proactive person, a good team player, responsible for understanding users, merchants, and business needs.
