Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer:

• The QA Associate will undertake the following activities:


• Develop organization-wide quality assurance processes and systems to address issues in a timely, efficient way, including the flow of QA and what team member performs what function, when, and how often


• Create, execute, evaluated (manual or automated) detailed test cases, document test results, and maintain other QA related documents


• Use Agile methodologies to review completed features from a user perspective and file and track bugs or inconsistencies


• Implement automated UI and functional testing using software such as Selenium and Appium


• Perform functional tests on Android and mobile applications


• Perform integration and regression tests on web services and APIs


• Create user documentation or “how to use” guides.


• Attend offline events as an observer to physically assess any issues that may occur.


• Help troubleshoot issues


• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing


• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications:

• The QA Engineer shall have the following qualifications:


• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role (min 3yrs)


• Based in Jakarta, Indonesia


• Speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently, have some English skills and Excellent communication skills


• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes including experience with BDD testing framework (i.e Ginkgo + Gomega)


• Experience with testing applications and documenting results (i.e. Selenium, Appium)


• Ability to use tools such as Jira and Kobiton to clearly document bugs


• Interest in working with a nonprofit company that is focused on the mission of “neighbors helping neighbors”.
