Position Overview

Our IT Operations/DevOps Engineers help build, maintain, secure and troubleshoot our expanding cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and services. They work hand in hand with our Software Engineers to ensure our applications are deployed efficiently and are running performantly.

Essential Functions

• Cloud Architecture
  
  
  
  • Provide recommendations for containers, infrastructure (IaaS), platform (PaaS) and function (FaaS) architecture to ensure proper load balancing and clustering to ensure maximum uptime
  
  
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained on all projects
  
  
  • Build client pricing models for Cloud Services, optimizing cost and performance
  
  
  
  


• Security
  
  
  
  • Apply critical security patches to our production systems
  
  
  • Maintain standards compliance
  
  
  • Setup intrusion detection systems and prevention methods
  
  
  
  


• Support
  
  
  
  • Setup monitors for all cloud related resources (applications, jobs, etc) keeping an eye on logs and alerts
  
  
  
  


• Deployment
  
  
  
  • Setup deployment and rollback processes
  
  
  • Build DevOps pipelines and services
  
  
  • Assist with release management and System Reliability Engineering (SRE)
  
  
  • Ensure proper backup and restore policies are in place
