Senior Linux Systems Engineer/ Tech Support Engineer

We are a leading provider of on-prem private cloud infrastructure. We radically simplify the Private Cloud, offering our own Linux distro, edge Linux together with our award-winning GUI-based cloud management antMan.

Our customers are enterprises of all sizes, from one-person freelancers to SMEs, mid-market enterprises all the way to many large enterprises such as IBM, US Army, Canadian Military, Juul, Toshiba, Nordstrom, and many more.

Our mission is to make Private Cloud Computing easy for our customers, which is a highly complicated task. Private, on-prem cloud is challenging to set up, and we make things easy for the customer by handling all the complexity ourselves.

To manage our growth, we are looking for a long-term, full-time Linux systems engineer.

Much of your time will be spent in pre-sales as well as post-sales tech support, solving challenging problems for our customers, and maintaining our knowledge base.

You will also create new solutions, e.g. develop scripts that make life easier for our customers.

An important responsibility is giving input to senior management on how to improve and further develop our products, based on customer feedback from your daily work.

We're a small team (10) of highly-motivated experts and can't wait to get you on board as our new team member.

Some of the technical skills that will be helpful in your new job:

- CentOS setup and management (current  products)

- Gentoo setup and management (legacy  products)

- Virtualization (VMware, Xen, KVM/QEMU)

- Bare-metal containers with LXC, LXD

- Experience in Proxmox, ESXi or Nutanix

- Knowledge of server hardware architectures

On the non-technical level, you MUST have:

- Unreal work ethic

- Fluency in English

- Working mostly (with some exceptions possible) on US hours (California)

- Ability to communicate clearly (over-communicate)

- Ability to create excitement, and turn No into Yes
