The CTO will be wearing many hats like:

• Choose the technology to be used to build products, keeping in mind talent availability, future expand ability…


• Be a developer and help the dev team meet critical deadlines.


• Be the architect, design architecture of the product you are building while making sure it is highly scalable and maintainable.


• Be the one looking out and doing the Headhunting. Usually early in the life of startups, HR doesn’t exist. So you have to do that.


• Propose and execute simple yet effective solutions to problems that the COO and his team might be facing.


• Work with the CEO to build and execute the vision of the startup.


• And if time permits, meet customers and generate sales.
