Job description

We are opening a position for a lead backend engineer to join our team. If you are looking to shape the future of decentralized finance, and lead the next wave of blockchain adoption, we are the right project for you. The role is remote, although we prefer you to reside in the North American time zone.

Roles and responsibilities

Software Programming

• Build robust and scalable software in Node and/or typescript.

Cloud Development

• Launch cloud operations on AWS, including Lambda, EC2, and PostgreSQL


• Utilize terraform or other cloud deployment resources


• Build a JSON-RPC controller through a lambda operation

General Management

• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Back-End Software Engineers, Project Managers and System Administrators.


• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products.


• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.

Requirements & Skills

• NodeJS/Javascript, Cloud/AWS experience, distributed systems, Terraform/cloud deployment, JSON-RPC, blockchain experience ideal but not necessary


• Source Control (git), self-starter, clean code, experience with contributing to open-source projects


• Management experience required, mix of start-up and big company experience ideal
