Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve web pages on Magento 1 & 2 platforms.

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Collaborate directly with cross-functional counterparts to gather requirements and translate them into web functionality.

• Work closely with a team, designer, and analysts to develop high-quality technical solutions to customer and business problems.

• Discover ways to validate and measure the impact your work has on customers.

Requirements

Experience

• Bachelors Degree/equivalent in Computer Science

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Magento Development with In-depth knowledge of:


• Magento framework, system architecture, themes, modules, functionality, and configuration.


• Expert level proficiency in client-side technologies including HTML5 and CSS3

• In-depth knowledge of Magento’s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and components.

• Complete understanding of responsive web design and related development techniques

• Proficiency coding object-oriented JavaScript that leverages frameworks such as jQuery

• Basic understanding of MVC architecture patterns

• Working knowledge of Photoshop

• Experience with Bitbucket.

• Server-side development experience.

• Experience in cross-browser testing.

• Portfolio of recent work.

Technical skills

Software

• Magento UI development, with hands-on experience with Magento 1 and 2.

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, LESS, SCSS, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Advanced-level knowledge of PHP.

• Able to write clean, readable, maintainable code.

• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Knowledge of product management tools.

• Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices performing keyword research, On-page optimization and link building.

• Basic understanding of Agile workflow and development methodologies.

IT

• Be able to do basic maintenance on our in-house server

• Configure and maintain our automatic PO system using SAGE software
