Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for front and Back-end development of Our Ecommerce website.


• Working on developing a micro-service architecture to run Magento


• Good understanding of Magento's 2.x code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components


• Experience in multi-store, multi-lingual, or multi-currency e-commerce implementations


• Create scalable functionality and extensions/modules on the Magento2.x platform


• Build well-designed software in a way that is generic, reusable, and easily extensible, as well as solves the business needs and requirements


• Build e-commerce applications, maintaining existing PHP code, optimizing MySQL queries, developing custom PHP solutions, and actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness, and functionality of highly customized consumer and business-to-business Magento Community and Systems


• Debugging, bug fixing and improving application performance


• Document, knowledge share your work and train other developers to improve overall quality and delivery


• Extreme care about quality. Own what you build as you create, test, and refine what's under the hood of our pages and services


• Work on Optimization of website for maximum speed and availability


• Discover, design, develop, deploy, debug. Repeat!


• Design solutions and integrate with third-party systems including payment processing, shipping, affiliate marketing, email marketing, currency exchange, and product feeds


• Firm grasp of Git-based source control


• Proficient with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications


• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies


• Taking active part in weekly Scrum and attend daily standup meetings offline and online


• Deliver projects on time.


• Good Understanding of web services integrations (REST/SOAP)


• Knowledge of the use of caching layers such as Memcached and Redis.


• Responsible for production-level code

• Minimum of 5+ years PHP web development experience and a minimum of 2 years real-world e-commerce experience with Magento 2.x development.


• 5+ years working with MySQL, optimization, indexes and performance techniques


• Should have great understanding with MySQL,MongoDB and NoSql based database concepts.


• Should have good knowledge of Elasticsearch and Redis.


• Experience working with JS frameworks (React / Vue)


• Great knowledge about PHP 7, PSR standards


• Thorough experience in customizing Magento's 2.x front-end components using layout XML,blocks, and templates


• Understanding of caching mechanisms such as Memcache/Redis/ElastiCache


• Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization,relationships and store catalog Solutions-oriented thinking; always looking for the smart solution to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer


• Candidate should have strong Code review ethics & can be responsible for the peer's code
