We’re looking for a QA manager who would own the QA function in our team. His or her primary responsibility would be to get familiarised with our cloud service and create test cases which would either be executed by himself/herself or another tester role within the team or converted into the automatic tests by a test automation engineer.



You should have at least one major or two smaller jobs in your profile related to software quality.



An ideal candidate should:

- Be keen to learn our cloud service at a very detailed level

- Be able to write clear and actionable test plans

- Be able to read and understand test reports

- Be familiar with the test automation tools, primarily Selenium/Selenide

- Be ready to do manual exploratory, smoke and acceptance testing

- Be able to manage automatic test creation and execution

- Be able to occasionally create automated tests himself/herself

- Possess excellent written and spoken English



Also,

- Familiarity with Gherkin notation is a plus

- The ability to advise us on integrating the automated testing process into the CI/CD pipeline is a big plus

- Create and maintain test cases

- Supervise the creation of automatic tests

- Perform manual testing

- Define the testing requirements for new features and make sure that the new features are tested before they are released

- Track the status of testing and communicate it to the team



We're looking to hire someone very soon on a full-time basis. We are flexible with time zones and availability (you do not necessarily need to work UK hours).
