We're looking to hire a developer for our MVP app! Stack specifications are still fairly flexible but it needs to be either iOS or cross-platform, connect via Bluetooth to a device and have a cloud backend, which runs our analysis model and delivers the outputs as notifications. We have already completed the UI designs with our digital product partner and along with this basic functionality, we also have a backlog of exciting other features to implement.



Your role will include the development of this MVP mobile app across its entire life cycle, from design through to testing, release management and maintenance. You will be the lead developer for front-end, UI and back-end, so must be both big-picture and detail-oriented, ensuring the app is exciting, engaging and seamless for the people using it.



As you’ll be working with a small, diverse team in an early-stage startup, non-technical skills are absolutely critical. You must excel at communicating clearly, coming up with creative ideas and making key development decisions. This role has the potential to expand to a full-time position upon completion of the MVP so you would ideally be interested in progressing to a dedicated leadership role.

We kicked off in early 2019 and our mission is to making the world sustainable and circular using the power of compost. It doesn’t have the best rep but recycling all our organic waste into natural fertiliser through composting could offset over 5% of total global emissions! To make it easier, we developed Monty, an IoT compost monitoring device that continuously tracks decomposition data which we analyse to generate the custom management insights that are delivered through the app.
