We're looking to add a driven Backend/DevOps engineer to our growing team.

Requirements:

• Ability to script various operational utilities using Python and/or Bash.


• Familiarity with multiple AWS services - EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.


• Proficiency writing PostgreSQL queries.


• Comfortable operating in Unix environments.


• Enough experience with frontend technologies to be capable of building internal staff-facing tools.


• Understanding of the basics of scalability, reliability, availability and security, and how to build systems around them.


• Basic knowledge of distributed systems.


• Expert at generating awesome technical documentation.

• Experience working in containerized environments.


• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and automating infrastructure configuration and service deployments (e.g. Terraform).


• Experience with MongoDB, NodeJS, TypeScript or React.


• Experience writing Swift MacOS applications.


• Strong understanding of workload orchestration or experience with tools like Nomad, Kubernetes, etc. …

• You have experience planning, deploying, and maintaining production infrastructure appropriate to scale.
