Files - Information about the products, prices, and stores are in JSON files and crawled on a daily basis. Some of it is crawled more times a day.



Mockup - We will go through the functionality and design as Mockup is ready.



Project

This is part of the project is the first part, if good outcome and performance there is a change of this becoming long term cooperation. This first part is focused on the crawled information, and to make sure that it is structured for the next step. We will take a look at the process of importing data, the speed of the import, and this "back-end" part of the application.

Steps would look something like this

1. JSON files with information are put on an SFTP server or written in SQL database on a daily basis.

2. Go through files and "wash" the information to match the product with one and other. This is probably the most crucial and important step to cut down on the manual work that we would have afterward.

3. Once washed, put in the information in the database.

4. Make the database ready for the "front-end" part of the application developed later on.

There will be a lot of statistics gathered and displayed in different graphs on a dashboard from the gathered information.
