* Design, build and operate high quality systems under conditions of uncertainty and complexity. It is a startup :-)



* Help others succeed through code reviews, thorough docs, technical guidance, and mentoring.



* Balance tradeoffs in partnership with design and product teams to deliver strategic imperatives.



* Lead by scoping and decomposing work into atomic, shippable components. Help inspire people to do their best work.
