As a Backend Engineer you will:



- Design, build, test, deploy and maintain web applications, services, big data pipelines.

- Write clean, performant code in accordance with our team’s code style guidelines.

- Work to improve and maintain the code health of all of our software.

- Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders to ensure that we’re always building the best possible solution in an optimal way.

- Participate in peer code reviews.

- Share expertise with other members of the team.

- Be a codebase owner



You have:



- 5+ years of professional software development experience.

- High competency in Scala.

- Experience working with gRPC

- Profound knowledge of Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes and Message Pub/Sub systems.

- Understanding of Big Data and Analytics technologies.



- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Experience with microservices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.



Desirable:

- Experience working in and building single page application (vue, react)

- CQRS, Event Sourcing
