The Ideal Candidate



We are looking for a UX/ UI Designer with a strong eye for design composition who will lead the charge as  company develops a revolutionary Marketplace for Auto Dealers and an Auto Trucking Marketplace. You should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. We expect you to have a strong portfolio of successful products both from a seamless UX and UI perspective.

Responsibilities

Define a design standard for us, and champion a user-centred design process that always focuses on the needs of the customer



Define a clean and elegant user experience that makes it simple for customers (who may be very slow technology adopters) to easily get started using our products



Develop low- and high-fidelity prototypes for new features. Validate designs through continuous, iterative testing



Develop a design infrastructure that allows our product and design capabilities to scale, Trucking continues to grow rapidly



Build and manage a lean UX team that can balance the need to create elegant designs but also get things done quickly



Take ownership of the full UX life-cycle, including strategy, content, wireframing and prototyping, the execution and analytics



Requirements



Bachelor or Master Degree in design or a related field



Solid design chops from a reputable company



3+ years of experience leading design projects and teams



Expertise with: Industry standard wireframing and prototyping tools, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, and other Web frameworks (e.g. Angular JS, React)



Working knowledge of Android / iOS design guidelines



Data-driven: Must be able to comfortable analyze data and usage patterns to generate insights on how to best improve the user experience



An impressive portfolio that includes examples of UX improvements you have made within business environments that turn complex experiences into simple ones.



High customer empathy, with a desire to make our customers' lives better



Have an incredible work ethic



Proven experience in delivering commercially successful software products



Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with different personality types and seniority levels
