We are looking for someone who has expert experience in NodeJS with Express and MongoDB to help us with our existing iOS app . Initially, this job request will target fixing a few bugs. We intend this short term job as an opportunity to trial a person for a long-term relationship with us while fixing some critical issues we are facing in production.



Note that the current code is a NodeJS with JavaScript (and not TypeScript, but a re-write might could be optimal), with a Swift for iOS app and a TypeScript Angular admin panel. Huge plus if you are also comfortable with Angular too.



For the longer term, the person we are looking for could also ideally advise and steer us to implement a twelve-factor app (or equivalent) in terms of production-ready, with best practices for a horizontally scalable API infrastructure.

First task for the Developer

We are having some glitches with our thumbnails on videos uploaded to the app.  Sometimes the thumbnails show up as partly black. If a user uploads more than one video in the post, sometimes the thumbnails will be the same for both videos
