Senior Back-End Developer needed, GraphQL, NodeJS, AWS, Git, PostgreSQL and daily stand-ups required

We are a team of five working around the clock globally. We are now looking for a senior Back-end developer to support the interchange of data between server and the users.  Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition, implementation and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well. You will collaborate with the team member and follow necessary processes in an Agile development methodology.



Requirements:

   • Experience with GraphQL is a must

   • Experience with popular Node.js web frameworks and/or utility libraries in particular Knexjs

   • Extensive experience in CICD process using GIT, Create Docker image and deployment in AWS environment

   • Experience using AWS Lambda functions and related cloud services like AWS RDS, Cognito, etc

   • Experience with relational database systems including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and DB2; and writing complex SQL queries

   • Building reusable code and libraries for future use

   • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

   • Implementation of security and data protection

   • Create technical documentation

   • Follow and establish best practices for coding standards and software architecture.

   • Experience with microservices and respective architecture design principles and scalability best practices

   • Experience in creating API design/technical documentation (Raml, swagger)

   • Experience designing and developing RESTFul API Services in NodeJs

   • Solid understanding of distributed systems and REST API communication



Scope of Work:



   • Database management: creating, updating, tables and fields as per business requirements while utilizing proper architectural designs

   • Create API layer using AWS cloud services with GraphQL & KnexJS

   • Ensure that the output data is correct according to the input data.

   • Work directly with the team to build and maintain our API based integrations.

   • Design and implement new endpoints as per database and system architecture using best practices and methods



** We have daily stand-ups for which the candidate should be available to dial in and provide update on the work done. We are flexible in time and can agree in the first day.
