Developer needed to make updates and set up pre-rendering for a Vue.js App + WordPress Integration

We are looking for a Full Stack developer to help us continue to build out a WordPress plugin that pulls in listings and real estate data from the Bridge Interactive API (formerly known as retsly): rets .ly /docs /platform/



We have already started on the plugin and it is currently pulling in listings, sorting listings, showing a listing detail page, search page with images and more. The rest of the site is built using WordPress, so the Vue.js app is a plugin with custom shortcodes built.



We are in search of a developer who can help us make some updates to the shortcodes we currently have setup, including:

1) pulling in multiple options for each variable in the shortcode

2) making the shortcodes + listings pages pre-rendered on the site, so Google is able to index them correctly



The app is currently not set up to be pre-rendered and is built using Vue.js. We would need a developer who is able to take our current app and make it pre-rendered so it is more SEO friendly and index by Google and other search engines. We will have additional tasks for the developer once these projects are complete.



Requirements for this job:

- Experience working with a Rest API and being comfortable learning how to setup the BridgeAPI and integrate with WordPress

- Experience with Vue.js framework REQUIRED

- Experience working with WordPress Rest API

- Experience setting up a Vue.js app to be pre-rendered, or migrating to a platform to pre-render

- Experience creating a custom web application with API integration

- Mobile first web application experience

- Strong CSS / HTML / Javascript skillset

- Ability to recommend other solutions to help create a fast and reliable web application.

- Availability during USA hours to be reached by chat about this project during development either through the Upwork app or another chat application

- Experience working with other developers, including Front End developer as you will have help building out the front end of the web application

- English fluency



Please include any examples of projects you have worked on that include custom API integration with WordPress or another CMS platform, and any project that use the Vue.js framework, specifically one that you set up to be pre-rendered. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP
