We are seeking a part-time Sr React developer who will continue to develop our newest product about photo detection, manipulation, cropping, etc.



This is initially a part-time position. Depending on the results in the first 6 months, and your ability to take on more projects, this could turn into a full-time position.



Required experience:

1. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and clear bug/issue explanations..

2. Minimum 4 years working with React and Redux

3. Have experience with face-api.js JS/NPM pkg

4. Experience working with Material-UI

5. Experience with REST APIs using JSON

6. Have experience with the entire software life cycle: from requirements to production

7.     Experience using Cypress.io



Extra points if you:

1. Had dealt with landscape profile photo showing up in portrait in Chrome

2. Experience working with legacy React apps

3. Have experience migrating React JS library version



You will start with one of our R&D projects built on around face-api.js npm package, apply best-practices to ensure ongoing high-quality and reliability as our app, and real-time service continues to expand.

Please describe your experience with face API libraries. What features you've used? What was your goal? Was this a personal project or part of job?

  

Have you been the primary responsible for a React SPA? If yes please describe in detail your core responsibilities. What libraries did you use to write automated tests?  What difficulties did you encounter when writing automated tests for a React app?



Have you worked in upgrading the React version in any project? If yes, please describe the high level architecture of a React. What were the versions of React in the upgrade? What problems you've encountered?

If you were to upgrade a small-to-medium size React SPA from 15.6.1 to the latest? How would up approach such migration? One major version at a time?



What is your preferred cloud app and/or tools to deploy a React SPA to production? In summary please describe why is your preferred.
