The Role :

Join an elite engineering-driven team and have an immediate impact on defining what “voice as the next platform” truly means!   We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who loves architecting building, and testing complex systems with a user centric approach.  This role will join the team as the Lead Software Engineer to assist in building the digital platform in a collaborative environment.  You will be collaborating with fellow engineers, designers, and product managers in agile development with user testing in the loop.  This role will also give our new team member the opportunity to explore new technologies and approaches in advanced networking techniques, voice recognition, and voice based UX design.  



Main Responsibilities:

- Maintain and execute the technical roadmap of the Voice Communications Platform.

- Manage the development of the  Voice Communication mobile (Android) and web applications.

- Lead integration of voice software with  wearable hardware devices.

- Support user testing and development feedback.

- Creating internal and external APIs.



Required skills and experience:

- Previous experience leading a team of software developers.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js programming and debugging.

- Prior experience with cloud based architectures using microservices.

- Efficient unit and integration testing

- Independent with good communication and team working skills.

-       M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience



“Nice to have” Skills :

- Good knowledge and understanding of JWT authentication, MongoDB, and REST API.

- Previous experience with WebRTC.

- Previous experience with wearables and/or hardware integration (i.e. Bluetooth, SCO, HFP).

- Experience with voice recognition and transcription libraries and/or APIs.
