Project summary

We're rebuilding the website.

We would like you to:

- Finish the homepage of this project as a paid test assignment.

- Work with our base theme. It’s really important to follow our base theme development guidelines. We’re however more than happy to help you start with it and explain anything that’s unclear along the way. We’re in this for the long run!

- Do the work yourself. We’re looking for freelancers to work with. We’re not looking for agencies or people that outsource their work to others.

- Make sure the homepage is responsive and works on the latest versions of Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.

- Make sure the homepage works on the latest three versions of IOS and Android.

- Do some proper testing and fix any bugs that come up during our own testing phase. After the delivery, we’ll fix any bugs that our client reports to us.



What we’re looking for

An experienced full stack developer (medior or senior) with knowledge of WordPress, Advanced Custom Fields, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/SASS/GULP/Github and optional Docker.

We’re looking for a longterm partnership. To make sure we find the right person to work with we would like you to first deliver the homepage (paid work of course). Afterward, we’ll test the work and we would like to have a one on one code review with so we can discuss the work done with you. This is also the moment we would love to hear from you about what could make working with our base theme even better.

Besides that we value the following:

- Communication: this includes English conversational skills and timely communication about the project. For example, we love to get questions in case anything is unclear and an update from time to time would help as well!

- Code quality: this means OOP, well documented, and following the WordPress guidelines.

- Testing: we expect you to check the responsiveness of the website on every screen resolution. Although we’re oké with finding a few bugs, we don’t expect to find lots of them.
