We are looking for a passionate engineer experienced with infrastructure services, security, and JVM microservices. we operate 100% in AWS and rely on our Foundation team to provide a rock-solid development experience that ensures team members have the access they need and our confidential information is protected. As a member of the Foundation services team, you will help span traditional DevOps and AppSec by building on our existing security infrastructure and libraries as well as recommending and implementing new systems, all with an eye on performance and secure design principles.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and evolve central services which are sensitive to major security concerns, performance, and uptime


• Contribute quality code to key API infrastructure and security services, such as proprietary load balancers, encryption services, and user account management


• Assist in monitoring existing uptime metrics, as well as producing new ones to ensure reliability


• Continue to develop central tooling and automation used by engineering teams


• Recommend and implement new technologies that will increase the performance and security of our systems


• Interact with security researchers as part of our ongoing bug bounty program


• Assist with internal and external audits of our security systems


• Work directly for our Director of Foundation Services and product teams to define a roadmap
