WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management


• Validate, secure, and improve infrastructure and deployment configurations


• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning


• Handle code deployments in all environments.


• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members on development and operations.


• Come up with ideas and ways to improve development delivery and reduce costs


• Manage and configure CI and CD tools.


• Monitor metrics from running instances/containers and develop ways to improve.


• Set up automated uptime, critical metrics, and error alerts.


• Enforce best practices for maximizing uptime and security, and help enforce a disaster recovery plan.

• At least 4 years of full-time professional experience in a similar role.


• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and strong background in Linux system administration and scripting languages.


• Deep experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and related managed services by cloud providers (EKS, ECS, Fargate), as well as unmanaged variants in production.


• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks, and perform proper analysis.


• Experience with CI/CD using one or more of the following: Azure


• Pipelines, Jenkins, CircleCI or GitHub Actions.


• Strong familiarity with networking and security concepts (VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers, etc.)


• Working with CloudWatch metrics, Prometheus/Grafana, NewRelic, and similar tools


• Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills. It is crucial to have clear written and spoken communication in a remote work environment.


• Must be constantly looking to learn and improve.
