Ruby Engineer for a High Growth Crowdfunding Company [Spanish Speaking Latin America Only]

We're for someone who is strong in TDD, Ruby, JS, and dev ops. Strong English speaking and writing skills are also required. Our software engineers must make decisions on their own without being told detailed specs. We are not looking for a code monkey.  We hope to work with this developer for 4+ years.



Since we deal with payments, having a robust well-tested codebase is important to us. The developer should be able to  support staff during the US times.

Thus, we are strictly hiring someone who can fit this time which includes an 1 hr lunch break:



9am - 6PM PST / San Francisco time 14:00 - 1:00 GMT

Job Duties & Requirements:

1.  Build exciting new features CRM, payments, and social networking.

2.  Enforce well-written tests and clean code.

3. Strong self-management, teamwork,  and communication skills.

4. Help review, test, and merge Pull Requests

5. Quickly fix and deploy urgent bugs.

6. Help our support agents for technical questions.

7. Must think independently without 100% guided instruction. Again there's no code monkeys in our company. We are all software professionals. Pickup tasks on your own without PMs asking.

8. 3 years experience with Ruby at least 1 year with javascript.

- Be able to read & write fluently in Spanish, we need help with Spanish localization in this growing market.
