We are looking for an experienced Python software developer for our Quantitative Asset Management team. The tasks include the support of the further development of our IT infrastructure for the execution and monitoring of trading strategies as well as the further development of the research environment for trading strategies, especially with regards to data connectivity.



Applicant profile



• At least one year of relevant work experience in a quant environment in asset management or comparable

• Very good Python knowledge for software development and relevant experience in software development

• Python knowledge for data analysis

• Basic understanding of asset management related financial mathematics

• Experience in setting up microservices, databases or data pipelines

• Solid understanding of different programming paradigms, especially object-oriented programming and functional programming

• Internalization of common programming principles such as DRY, YAGNI, SOLID etc.

• Experience with integrated software tests/test frameworks

• Understanding of quality-driven development methods, such as Test Driven Development



• Very good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken

• High willingness to learn

• High level of initiative and independence

• Reliability and diligence

• Good balance between teamwork and assertiveness

• Interest in quantitative trade and machine learning
