Need to create an WebAR Augmented Reality API

Hello,

I started with an Augmented Reality modeling agency in 2017 as a hobby and happily it has been growing since then.

I’m taking a first look to take my first “big jump” in this field but, as expected, I have no experience in web development so I need someone to guide and lead this new project I have in mind.

I need you to create an easy and fast way to manage and automatize the process of embedding Augmented Reality to WebAR applying web component. I’m currently outsourcing this task using Vectary, so you can take a look what’s the result I’m looking for. For AR you should open in iOS 13+ or Android with AR Core 1.9+) but it’s not viable for me in the long term as it’s a subscription based service. [please, refer to https://modelviewer.dev for documentation on

web component and https://modelviewer.dev/examples/augmented-reality.html

for an example of it being applied to Augmented Reality].

I primarily would like to have a tool where I can provide 2 files (.usdz .glb) and get in return a html code easily so I can deliver it to clients webpages.

In a nutshell: I need a tool that can give me exactly what I have now in my page but in a more efficient way and that I could use at the same time for providing it to others.

I’ve been suggested to build an API that could make all the connection between me and the client files [which could manage all the "collecting files work" from my clients (primarily image files and some 3D models as .skp) and also delivery/embedding the resultant code línes to the client/client’s website], so would like to know what are your thoughts on this.

I know this description could be seen as very vague (and probably it is) so please let me know any further information I can provide you to lay down a good project and set a quote.

I’m absolutely open to hear your opinion and suggestions as how to make this happen in the most

efficient way.

Thank you very much for reading all the way down.
