We are looking for help to create a standalone block editor outside of the Wordpress environment using Gutenberg. I have followed along the tutorial below however I want to expand on that tutorial and add undo and redo functionality that is currently present in the Wordpress version (see demo below).



I have created a GitHub issue about this extension and discussed it with the tutorial creator. I’m looking for extra help because this is a time sensitive issue and my React XP is very limited. I’m looking for someone to add this functionality within the next couple of days then, for future projects, help me further by adding the rest of the missing features (shortcuts, document outline, block navigation etc).



Providing you have a strong experience with React and Redux (worked on large projects) you will be able to help.

So to begin with I need your help closing the above GitHub issue. If you read through the issue you’ll see the tutorial author has created a branch and is almost there, I need you to fork the branch and finish off the implementation.



I will pay you and all the work you carry out will be open source. I’m looking for someone who I’ll be able to work with long term as this standalone editor is being added to a custom Ruby on Rails CMS I work on called Integral.



As mentioned, this is time sensitive, at least this initial job will be given to whoever gets back to me first, ideally with confirmation they’ve solved the issue or have a solution in mind.
