You Will

• Create and maintain Ruby on Rails applications


• Create and maintain front ends in React, Haml, and jQuery


• Design, build, and maintain performant, reliable web applications


• Embrace and champion engineering best practices


• Produce clean, high quality code, tests, and documentation


• Actively engage in code and design reviews with peers and partners


• Contribute engineering input and feedback into product planning processes

• BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience


• Experience writing customer-facing software


• Desire and ability to write production quality code at scale


• Passionate about tough technical/engineering problems


• Sound technical judgment and a bias for action


• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience using AWS services


• Experience using Heroku services


• Experience in advertising or social media


• Experience working with big data solutions


• Experience with Google and Facebook APIs


• Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis


• Interest and ability to learn other programming languages
