DevOps Engineer - handle DevOps, responsible for our cloud infrastructure.

About the role:

We are looking for someone to handle DevOps and be responsible for our cloud infrastructure.



What You'll Be Doing:

- Improve the efficiency, security, stability, and quality of applications being delivered.

- Take charge of, improve, and extend our current deployment processes.

- Setup monitoring of application infrastructure and usage.

- Analyze usage and suggest improvements.

- Extract data and setup reports/dashboards.

- Address client issues, run training for internal/external users and coordinate rollouts with partners.



Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in DevOps and related positions with extensive DevOps solutions experience.

- Understanding of scalable web application architecture and infrastructure both in on premise and cloud.

- In depth knowledge and Strong experience with AWS - must

- Strong experience scripting in Python and Bash.

- Cloud Backups and restore procedures.

- Extensive knowledge of Linux, cloud technologies, and network Infrastructure.

- Experience with Containerization/Docker and Orchestration with Kubernetes, Fargate, and App Mesh.

- Experience with deployment tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Skills in infrastructure automation tools, such as lambda, cron, and celery.

- Have an in-depth architecture understanding and of the CI/CD pipeline and experience building robust pipelines.

- In-depth understanding of building out API unit tests.

- Understanding of best security practices for Cloud development.

- Understanding of microservice architecture.

- Highly experienced with infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent University degree, or equivalent experience.
