We are a security company that enables safe internal use of sensitive data.  Our software finds and classifies sensitive data in cloud data warehouses, finds risky queries (relative to sensitive fields), and throws alerts when it finds risky queries.  



Our software currently works for Redshift on AWS and Snowflake on AWS.  We ship our software as an AMI to our clients, and they install it within their VPC.  The software crawls the data warehouse, samples data, and periodically copies queries from the query log.  The software ships with its own database (to store queries) and web server (as the UI is web-based).  



We have a front-end team in Ukraine, and we are looking are looking to expand our core back-end engineering team to help flesh out our product.  Back-end technology stack includes Scala, Java, Play, Slick, Akka, Docker, and BitBucket, and of course SQL.  Ideal candidates will also have experience with Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.



This will be a full time (40 hours/week) effort for the next 90 days (at least).  Possible projects include:



* Porting software to BigQuery and Azure Synapse Analytics

* Writing the back-end to a policy editor

* Creating a tag management system

* Enhanced dashboard & reports for the product

* etc.
