Frontend Django Developer will be responsible for coding easy to understand user-facing functionality using Python (Django), JavaScript (jQuery and Vue), HTML, and CSS (Bootstrap). Your goal will be to improve eCommerce conversion through good implementation as part of a capable development team.

This is a full-time, remote, work-from-almost-anywhere role. Swappa is a distributed team spread out all over the world. Experience working with a remote team is a requirement.

 

Responsibilities:

• Implement efficient functionality using Django and web technologies


• Translate high-level ideas into usable interfaces


• Implement wireframes and designs as responsive layouts


• Help design and implement A/B tests


• Work within design guidelines to create simple page layouts

Expectations:

• Django proficiency, ability to write performant code


• HTML, CSS, JavaScript proficiency


• Bootstrap (v3) experience


• Ecommerce experience is a plus


• Familiarity of browser inconsistencies


• Excellent communication skills (English)
