Job Purpose:

 Our Company  are looking for a .Net Developer to join our fast growing E-Business Solutions team, who deliver an innovative set of business applications across a diverse range of clients and sectors. This is a great opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the software development cycle and be a key contributor in the development of bespoke web / business applications from concept to delivery. With your previous exposure and commercial experience as a C# developer in ASP.NET and excellent communication skills, you will work in a supportive environment and build relationships with both our external and internal clients in order to deliver quality innovative applications



Key Responsibilities:

Development of bespoke web and hybrid mobile applications, specified to customer requirements, from concept to delivery

Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle including; analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation

Enhance existing systems as per customer requirements

Provide ongoing development and support for existing legacy systems for customers and internal operations via telephone and email

Assist development team in the delivery of projects

Provide technical support to the sales team as and when required

Working within planned and agreed time scales to deliver all tasks and problems

Attend customer meetings as and when required to gather requirements



Essential commercial skills:

C#, ASP.Net, MVC

HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap

Good understanding of database design, including normalisation and referential integrity

Entity Framework or equivalent ORM

MSSQL – Queries, Views, Stored Procedures

Visual Studio, TFS (or equivalent source control technology)

Solid Principles



Essential commercial experiences:

At least 2+ years commercial experience as a C# developer in ASP.NET

Experience integrating with 3rd party applications via APIs e.g. SOAP, REST

Proven track record of delivering multiple development projects at once



Desirable commercial skills/experience:

Net Core, EF Core

Less, Sass

Experience working in an Agile environment

Exposure to mobile application development frameworks (Ionic/Cordova)

This role will also involve dealing with customer support requests via telephone and email therefore exceptional levels of customer service, communication and attention to detail are also required.
