In response to growing service demand from new and existing clients we are seeking to expand our team of experts – as a developer here, you’ll be a key part of shaping the growth and direction of an exciting, dynamic business. We specialise in Magento CE, Magento EE, Shopify & Shopify Plus and native PHP/Laravel based applications.



We are open to remote working from candidates within the UK, but would prefer this role to be based at our central Newcastle HQ, one minute away from Central Station.



Responsibilities :

Development and maintenance of PHP & MySQL driven websites, ecommerce stores, and applications

Configuration of web servers (Apache/Nginx & MySQL) and use of development and deployment systems (DeployHQ, Bitbucket, Docker).

Work on multiple development projects at various stages with timely and critical deadlines

Perform a mix of integrations, back-end and front-end development on new and existing ecommerce sites based on Magento CE (1 & 2), Magento EE/Cloud, Shopify/Shopify Plus.

Develop new integrations and custom extensions for ecommerce platforms and in-house applications.

Help to implement and adhere to deployment and development best practices.



Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a development role.

Solid experience of LAMP stack required.

Experience in OOP.

Experience of Magento 1 & 2 desired, but not essential.

Magento developer certification desired, but not essential.

Good understanding of the web UI layer (HTML, CSS, JS)

Experience of complex systems integration & ecommerce integration with third parties (ERP, WHM, Marketing, Logistics, APIs)
