We are looking for a Mobile Developer to work in support of the NOAA, NMFS and NEFSC.



Qualifications

The developer must possess:



Experience with PHP and web application development.

Track record of success in developing Android apps for tablets and smart phones.

Familiarity with Android Studio and the Gradle Build Tool.

Working knowledge of JAVA program development.

Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, and relational database development.

Experience with Bluetooth I/O is preferred. Some knowledge of serial communications or RJ 45 networking is preferred.

Experience in supporting application development through integrated project work group meetings, data modeling, code reviews, and system review for quality and performance.

Work experience that demonstrates 1) involvement in all aspects of the software development cycle and 2) ability to learn both data collection processes as well as new and existing technologies.

Ability to work as part of a team to define and refine user requirements.
