What will you do?

• Communicate information using appropriate data visualization techniques to aid the understanding of the biologists
• Hands-on software programming and building reusable visualizations packages for data representation
• Requirement gathering for scientific data visualization and translating them into functioning product
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team with biologists, data scientists and data analysts and engineers
• Contribute to documentation, participate in code reviews and other common development activities

You should apply if you have

• A scientific aptitude or active interest in Bioinformatics
• Masters or undergraduate in Computational Biology/Computer Science/Biotech or related field (1 to 3 years of data analysis experience preferable)
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to learn and work collaboratively on codes.
• A fair understanding of a scripting language like Python and/or Javascript.
• Prior demonstrable experience in developing a web application and Javascript frameworks is a big plus.
• Hands-on experience in building data-rich applications and visualizations using plotly, nvd3, chartjs etc.(Preferable)
