The Role

For this role, you will be project managing two to five projects (depending on size), managing the budgets, deliverables, and process. You’ll do this alongside an amazing scrum team and dedicated clients.

Your good sense of humor, collaborative nature, and high-quality communication style will be a great addition to our talented team. Your presence and work will support our mission to work alongside our government agency clients as partners in open and agile transformation. Together, we'll make it enjoyable for them to come to work every day, and pass that joy on to their citizens and customers.

We are a mission-minded team, and we're looking for others with a true passion for using technology to make a positive change in our world. You should be comfortable in a consulting or professional services environment, in addition to working with cross-functional agile teams.

 

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of project management or related experience


• You have demonstrated ability in budget reporting and tracking; spreadsheets energize you!


• You are capable of taking on additional responsibility without dropping the ball; prioritization is your superpower


• You are comfortable with ambiguity to complete a task, but can also ask for help when you need it


• You understand the agile process and can demonstrate the values 

Responsibilities

• Project planning and concise budgeting


• Project reporting to track budget, velocity, milestones, and risks


• Scope analysis and management via active backlog grooming and road mapping


• ScrumMastering - conducting ceremonies, ensuring the team is on process and training the client


• Client management and support


• Ensure transparency, balance, and agility 


• Having the hard conversations when it comes to budgets or holding people accountable

We are a fully distributed remote team within the U.S. You can work from home or find a great co-working space. You just need a computer, webcam, strong internet connection and a structured schedule because we are a truly collaborative team.
