You are a passionate developer with prior experience building complex, large applications in Java, Spring, Hibernate. At our company Create you will be working on a leading automotive technology project, will collaborate with cross-functional Scrum team to deliver high quality innovative products in short sprint cycles.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Working in agile software development teams, analysing and designing challenging software solutions in Java. Besides Java, utilization of other state-of-the-art technologies that best fit the problem space is possible 

·         Development of sustainable solutions and scalable software as part of cloud-native applications, mostly following the DDD approach

·         Ensuring high quality code, working in the “you build it, you run it” mindset

·         Providing technical know-how for the domain and business stakeholders

·         Urge to understand the actual problem to be solved including project specific process- and integration know-how

 

Required skills and experience:

·         Multiple years of experience (5+) in application development in complex cloud-based environments with Java (EE) and corresponding technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and WebServices (REST, SOAP)

·         Experience in system design and architecture

·         Advanced knowledge in methodology of software engineering (OOA/OOD, UML), design patterns and agile software development (SCRUM, Kanban), test-driven development and continuous deployment 

·         Expert-level experience in database systems (RDMS, NoSQL), application servers (Tomcat, Jetty) and distributed source code management systems (Git)

·         Experience in virtualization technology and PaaS (CloudFoundy, Chef, Docker, Vagrant)
