Our Company is looking for a talented Frontend Developer/Themer to work with us on some great projects. We are looking for a person with energy and a true passion for creating valid, accessible, cross-platform, mobile friendly websites and applications.

 

Responsibilities:

• Using HTML, Twig, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement the visual design for websites and web apps. We work with CMSs (primarily Drupal), but we are adopting more decoupled approach now, making the Drupal knowledge plus, but not a requirement.


• Implementing designs using a mobile-first approach to create pleasant experiences on smartphones, tablets, and desktops.


• Creating or leveraging frontend style guides and pattern libraries.


• Ensuring good user experience design in all work you produce.


• Writing WCAG accessible code.


• Improving UX experience through the use of CSS and JS based solutions.

• Writing Semantic & accessible HTML.


• Good SASS/SCSS and CSS skills.


• Good experience with Twig templating system.


• Experience designing, implementing and nesting components as we do Component based design.


• Experience with JavaScript, behaviours and nodejs, npm, gulp or yarn.


• Experience with Pattern Lab or Storrybook.


• Experience with the "mobile-first" approach to frontend development, understanding Responsive design principles.


• Working with Git version control Curiosity and passion about producing cool interactive web experiences for the user.

• Experience designing, theming, or developing for Drupal.


• Experience with a "design in the browser" workflow


• Knowledge of best practices to optimise frontend performance


• Experience creating custom visual design assets (comps, style tiles, style guides, pattern libraries) for client projects
