We are looking for an experienced Freelance Packaging Designer to redesign all of our current packaging. 

The Designer will:

 

• Lead the redesign process for all current packaging materials for products, including brainstorming, sketching, creating prototypes and final design files

• Works with stakeholders to understand their needs

• Evaluates consumer and market trends for packaging materials

• Collaborates with in-house partners to understand the business and consumer needs, packaging budgets and deadlines.

• Handle fast turnarounds with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask

• Attention to detail 

• Build brand strength with a clear, concise aesthetic through designs

• Presents designs to stakeholders 

• Take feedback from the stakeholders to ensure the design is right for the brand

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design

• 2+ years of package design experience

• Ability to build physical mockups

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

• Clear understanding of consumer packaging

• Excellent graphic design & conceptual skills

• Strong communication
