What You'll Do

• Build and maintain web-based applications.


• Mentor junior developers and perform code review for quality control.


• Code and/or modify source code based on specifications for complex or specialized modules.


• Guide in preparation of technical design documents. Ensure that documentation is in place and maintained.


• Identify UI (User Interface) problems to ensure best solutions for translating design into code.


• Report status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis.


• Collaborate with team members at all levels to execute projects for enterprise clients.


• Handle technology and projects within a particular unit.


• Provide input to facilitate technology upgrades.


• Conduct checkpoint review on the overall deliverables.


• Guide / Review the preparation of technical design documents in accordance to functional specifications. Ensure that documentation is in place and maintained.


• Plan for performance improvement and drive changes.


• Submit timely, correctness, and complete weekly status report for teams.


• New development, enhancements, and maintenance in Java/J2EE (JMS, EJB, and Servlets) with extensive knowledge of design patterns.

• 
  5 years' full stack engineering experience (emphasis on backend + familiarity w/frontend OK)
  


• 
  Experience with object-oriented programming
  


• 
  Experience with MicroServices (Spring Boot), REST API Development, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  


• 
  Experience with Docker, JIRA, Jenkins, Git/Stash is preferred.
  


• 
  Familiar with frontend tech stack Angular and React.
  


• 
  Excellent verbal and written English skills, coupled with good customer relationship skills.
  


• 
  Experience designing and maintaining a database for an Enterprise Network.
  


• 
  Experience in encrypting data in transit and at rest.
  


• 
  Experience querying database using shell clients as well as ORM programming-based queries.
  


• 
  Experience with REST API development and using REST APIs for data integrations with external systems.
  


• 
  Experience managing database backups, migrations, and data conversions.
  


• 
  Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for software development.
  


• 
  Familiar with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Bootstrap (frontend).
  


• 
  Experience with responsive web designs (bootstrap).
  


• 
  DevOps Linux experience, configuring automated builds, tests, and deployments Maven, Gradle, Ansible, Puppet, Chef (preferred, but not required)
