Summary



We are looking for an independent contractor UI Developer to work on multiple projects, including Gamer Gathering projects, and with other contractors.

A day in the life of our “Pit Boss”...

• Collaborate with founder and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

• Create high fidelity mockups for Gamer Gatherings application interfaces that meet user interaction requirements.

• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

Your superpower skillsets...

• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.

• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.

• Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision

• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3

• Creative ideas with problem-solving mindset.

• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

• Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.

• Attend required team meetings and provide proactive updates about your work
